One year on and the hair is longer, the legs are longer but the seat and helmet still fit so time to get on the road again! This time Rose will be crossing India from the Bay of Bengal to the beaches of Goa. 'India holidays bike!' says Rose so let's go!

Following on from Rose's first adventure aboard the Windrush (see below), her next trip is to cross Cambodia by bicycle!

Phnom Penh

Arriving by bus into Phnom Penh Rose says it's important to drink lots of water when its hot. We said good buy to the bikes which we sold here, and relaxed into a very civilized appartment with our Japaneese friends - who needs bikes when we have our own driver and car! Tsuyoshi, Mariko and baby Lynn took us on a sunset cruise along the Mekong, and we treated them to a traditional sunday roast chicken with apple crumble. We visited a former torture centre in the city to learn more about the Khmers` tragic history; Lynn and Rose cheered us up with their matching outfits from the Russian market.

Next stop Battambang!
