"And as you cross the circle line,
Well the ice wall creaks behind
You're a rabbit on the run.
And the silver splinters fly
In the corner of your eye,
Shining in the setting sun.
Well do you ever get the feeling
That the story's too damn real
And in the present tense.
Or that everbody's on the stage
And it seems like you're the only
Person sitting in the audience
Skating away, skating away, skating away
On the thin ice of the new day"

I'm so sorry about Cachet, Caine. Her great age is a testament to the wonderful life you gave her.
xxxx :(
Oh yes! The storm that took out over a thousand towers last year? That happened in April. It ain't over yet. Just got over a power outage, and it's snowed twice this week.
Don't envy you that.
The first days of Spring here were more like summer but colder again today and frost tonight.
Frost? Oh no. I hope the plants survive okay. Every year that I get excited and start with plants earlier than normal, a killing frost comes along.
This winter has been a harsh one, especially on the East Coast though. I have friends in various parts of New York State that have been doing a lot of grumbling.
Good to see you here again Caine.
But it sure is tough getting a connection to Moblog these days....
Thanks, Factotum. Yes, I experienced problems today myself, it took more than 40 minutes to get my main page to load once this evening. That's more than a bit annoying, to say the least.
I'm sorry for your loss, Caine. I don't know anything about Cachet except for the fact that I know she had a great life with you.
Thanks, Hekuni Cat. Cachet was one of our dogs. She was half Landseer Newfoundland and half Collie. She was sweet, through an through, a gentle giant, loved to swim and thought snow was one of the greatest things ever.

I'm really sorry to hear about Cachet - and this beautiful shot is a fitting tribute
Thank you for posting the links to your previous photos of Cachet. She was beautiful.
I hope you are well, that things are going better, and that you will be able to get out with your camera soon, if it hasn't already happened. Take care.
Thank you, Hekuni Cat. I'm doing okay, the spine isn't completely well as yet, but getting there.
I'm glad to hear you are recovering, Caine, and hope that the boys are keeping you smiling with their antics.
