In theory, I'm going to flat iron my hair tonight. We'll see if I actually
work up the energy to do so. Also, OMG i need to dye my hair before going to NYC.

I think it's a grass is always greener thing. A stylist blow dried my hair straight one time, a few years ago, and I've been mildly obsessed with stick straight hair ever since. I cannot have it, and so I want it.

And thank you!

You might think about getting ceramic straighteners and heat protection spray if you want straight hair.

I like your curly hair. But I like straight hair to (especially on me).

I just bought a ceramic straightener with some birthday money from the family. The heat protection spray is a really good idea. I'll look around for that before attempting this! Thanks!

Pop into a salon and ask them what the best stuff is. I can't remember what it was the stylist suggested to me last time.

your curls are fab.. but i too like the option of straight hair.. solid ceramic straightners i've found work even better than ceramic coated ones. i tried for years with different metal ones and they never did anything..

I will TOTALLY blog it when it's straight. *grin* How could I possibly resist the siren call of moblog?

And thanks, beth! I've got a brand new ceramic (though I think it is the coated variety) straightener, and I'm popping down to the store today to get some of the styling cream by Rusk that is for use with ceramic straighteners.

I've never done this before -- I just hope things don't get too hairy.

Oh, the puns to which I have sunk!
