Thanks Rhys and Viv. Thought it was ... ummm ... interesting. What did you think of it, Rhys?

You're right, Crickson ... hadn't noticed. This was a quick shot while moving off to the station.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact I thoroughly enjoyed everywhere I visited in Scandinavia. Having said that I did not find the people as welcoming as in Finland and Sweden.

As ever, not enough time to explore properly so I made the mistake of doing the typical tourist things. Had a good wander around, enjoyed the cafe 'culture', tried to visit the Mermaid (but that was in China!) and visited the Carlsberg visitor centre :) There was a massive photo exhibition in one of the squares which I must have spend a good few hours at.

I stayed in some overpriced hotel near the city centre.

If I had more time I would've liked to have gone further afield but I only had a few days until my flight home from Copenhagen.

Why do you say 'interesting'?

Your experience sounds similar to our Rhys. I heard that the Mermaid had been replaced by a screen showing the mermaid in it's temporary location. Did you get that?

We wandered around too - saw the Mermaid, the citadel and the seafort. Went up to to Christiania which we found sort of uncomfortable and then climbed the church tower (I found that uncomfortable). I can't put my finger on why Cop didn't quite click with us ... maybe because it wasn't as beautiful in comparison to Stockholm, or my expectations were wrong, or because it was very urban and noisy. We'd already been in Stockholm and had a great time with friends in Linkoping and maybe we were at the end of our trip and ready to be home.
