They say only god can make a tree but recently I've been marveling at what the human species has been capable of creating. This struck me as a kind of monolithic Christmas tree that one might see in The Matrix.

In the parlance of this side of the pond, happy holidays to mobloggers, one and all!

I was having a conversation with a friend on this recently. Broadly speaking I've always been more in awe of man-made structures than those created by nature. Wicked. Happy holidays.

Glad y'all like it. I was inspired by a random comment someone had left on a random website on the internets, in which they said something like, "humanity, you are truly amazing, look at what glorious things you create for you own entertainment" and it was said with such conviction that it made me think that we should take a break from lamenting destructiveness and instead congratulate ourselves for some of our creations. And when you look at NYC at night, from a rooftop, you can't help but think that the skyline lit up like human ant hills is truly amazing.
