So sorry to hear about Jeff -he looks lovely hope Mia and Saphira bring you lots of pleasure
Thanks, Viv. I'm sure they will. They're both amazing cats, each in her own way. Saphira seems to be of a very old age already and doesn't have much patience to play with Mia despite Mia's great efforts. Poor Mia just gets ignored every time :D. But except for that they're getting along well.
I'm so sorry about Jeff, Dania. One of the reasons ours have a kennel outdoors is because of cars - no one around here would go out of their way to miss a cat, and ours have no 'car sense'.
Saphira is gorgeous and I'm sure she's happy to have a home and security now. Mia looks an adorable little imp. :)
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear you've lost your cat.
Thanks again, Caine.I've thought about building something like that before because even though the cats I've had don't seem to find the road side as attractive as the woods side... it's always a risk. I usually keep an eye on them when they're playing outside but that was obviously not enough with Jeff. I will really have to ponder the best way to make the road unaccessible to Mia while still giving her some space outside to explore.
Thank you, Twiglet.
Thanks. crickson.
So sorry for your loss, I know how important cats can become in one's life.
Jeff was a great looker and looks as if he was very contented with you.
I'm sure the two "new" ones will soon realize how lucky they both are.
Hi, JokerXL. Thank you for your kind words. I do take some comfort in knowing he had a good, happy life. But I miss him.
The "new" ones seem to be enjoying their new life. Saphira in particular seems especially grateful for shelter in the colder rainy days of winter. She'll never be an indoor cat, but I'm always happy to welcome her in when she wants to.
