"And as you cross the circle line,
Well the ice wall creaks behind
You're a rabbit on the run.
And the silver splinters fly
In the corner of your eye,
Shining in the setting sun.
Well do you ever get the feeling
That the story's too damn real
And in the present tense.
Or that everbody's on the stage
And it seems like you're the only
Person sitting in the audience

Skating away, skating away, skating away On the thin ice of the new day"

Viv, they were. It's been a long while since we've had the time to take them out for a good run about.

Thanks, Dania. :) They were so happy to get out and run all over the lake.

I love how happy they are, and how easy you make snow photography with moving animals look :)

lovely, they look like they're in their element : )

Dhamaka, it was a lovely day, all bright with sun.

Wendle, indeed! They were happy.

JD, oh yes they were. If they had their way, this would be every day. :) SD does have better weather than we do, there's about a 10 degree difference in weather all year.

Thanks, Taniwha. That is a good title - if I weren't so rubbish at writing, I'd give it a shot myself. :D
