Alex .... and the Band plays on .....

I was shocked when I realised how many years ago it is since he died. Time flies, life goes on, I hope his family are well x

I was just looking back over Alex's blog last week. Such a sad loss, but he remained so positive, a real hero.

Thanks Twiglet, I see Jenny (Alex's mum) on a regular basis, she is a lovely person and is so upbeat despite all sorts of health problems.

Joker, yes, Alex was a real hero, and I think you suit that suit (colour co ordinated) and it is only the cymbals that clash ;)

How coincidental.

I found my "Neutropenic Alex is a Superhero" book while unpacking one day last week, and suspended all unpacking to read back through it, and think of him and everyone.

Good to remember the 'Old Times' Dave and I still talk about our walk with you through the Wicken Fens ..... we are hoping to go back there soon as we have friends who have just moved into the area

Oh, that would be lovely. I remember that day with fondness as well.

Gael and I went for a walk there a couple of days before I moved. It's always lovely.
