Not the easiest read. The introduction to the book descibes the first third as 'turgid', which I had to agree with. Glad I plowed through it, but I think it's mainly in print due to who her husband was. And I'm not sure I would have got much out of it had it not been for the backdrop of Tender is the Night.
A lady desperately striving for a style to compete with her husband's, i think she could have dfinitely got there. Shame there wasn't the time to tell.
