I must post a pic (or more appropriately a series of pics) of all our bookshelves, on the last count approx 700 books, luckily we have a big house and neatly constructed bookshelves

Wow! Good haul there. I do have a weakness for Agatha Christie it's true. I like murders to be matter of fact and not too upsetting, focus on the mystery solving and gloss over all the trauma!
Why the Marple hatred though? I can see she's not everyone's cup of tea, but she's an excellent knitter.

D - I still haven't actually read any Banks, but currently have three on my to-read list :)

S - Urgh, Marple is just an interfering old busy-body, sticking her nose in... i just find her totally annoying!

But she knits and solves murders... It helps if you've had some gin.

same problem here. Last purchase is so wonderful--a Botany Colouring Book. If anyone phones me I get out my colouring book...and I know about cells and all kinds of things now. Go W, read!!
