The top badge is the one worn by pupils and the lower badge was rescued from an old Lectern by Mr Walker.

The third badge is the current school badge that is used on letters and the school flag.

The fourth badge is the school badge that is still used onthe uniform.

The swans represent the canal and the corn the farming heritage of Leven.

I designed the top badge when I was a pupil at Leven C.E. School. I must have been tn or eleven at the time - so it would have been around 1963/4 when the school was contemplating the introduction of voluntary uniforms.
