and yes, Jigalong, come burn things anytime. Dry dry summer here--already giant fires up north.
Lupine seeds won't grow unless they're in a burn.
Wonderful result - stunning - always been a favourite of mine as gaden flowers but wild like that quite stunning.
But Viv, the lupines you have in Europe are different. These are much lower to the ground, only about a foot high--but they do look great en masse.

I'm only responsible for a few of them. Are there any similar sites that we can look for to see whats fires are doing in northern Canada?
Wow. NW Australia is burning. so is Canada. Last year this time, 1,455 hectares burned, this year to this date, 41,443 hectares burned. Rain and wind died down so today Ontario fires slowing. two sites to look at:
