What is The Soundtrack To Your Life? Whether it's you listening to tunes on your journey to work or that compilation of killer club anthems that evoke fond memories of dancing the nights away, we want to see how you visualise the idea of your life with music, and we want you to moblog it for us. Festival moments that made you roar with joy, gigs that changed the way you think about music, a song that you keep on loop till you know all the words, we want to see your love of music, the soundtrack to *your* life.

Sounds of the afternoon parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 form a whole piece. Read in order for best results :-).

Rough Trade is like a kid's playground for me, when I'm not suffering from chronic poorness. When penniless I ban myself from visiting or I quickly fall off the wagon. Nigel's been working here for 25 years. Having completed his degree, whilst looking for work as a landscape gardener, he fell into selling records when they offered him a job. "I just love it when people come back happy" he grins. Working at an indie store like Rough Trade requires a genuine love of all music. Nigel has it in spades, that's why he stays, always interested in the new stuff, watching what people buy and making recommendations. That's why I shop here. I listen to the new kid606 album. "Hmm, not sure, different from the clattery stuff." "Yeah, it's quite different, deeper in a way." I'll think about it, have another listen next week.
