What a beautiful picture. I think it is the contrast between to soft colour of the flower and the rough broken bark of the tree. Well done!

Hi Tomk, Twiglet,

I took the photo in Whiteoak wood, part of the Dunham Massey estate. This small wood is cut off from the main estate by the later introduction of the canal. The wood is overgrown and unmanaged leaving a once proud obelisk, now isolated from the avenue that once led to it from the Hall grounds, abandoned to the elements.

Thanks for the appreciation.
