Biriani, dal, raita, naan. And then I finished with poached pear and cinnamon ice cream. Absolutely divine (and worth the wrath of the food gods). Joe finished with a cheese board. No pictures because we had to fly, Cinderella style, to catch our last film of the film festival.

The full vegetarian tasting menu is £30 per head. BYOB. There is a lighter menu and a lunch menu for around £15 per head. Non vegetarian tasting menu also available. This is a new venture and they are keen to vary the menu regularly.

All the food was lovely. Highlights for me were the starting tomato soup (tempted to experiment to recreate this), the tikka paneer, the spinach balls and chestnut and mushroom curry. Oh and the poached pear and cinnamon ice cream.

I also heavily recommend their Kushi restaurants (on Niddry St and Leith Walk in Edinburgh -- there is a non Kushis Kushi on Charlotte St, which is not the same and not BYOB).
