Whoops... didn't even see these posts. Crickson> it's quite an outdoorsy city. When you've got mountains dominating the backdrop, it's difficult not to want to go out walking. Autumn is here now though, which means torrential rain until next April :o( At least I can learn to ski though!

Yeah, but I'm a sheep. Everyone here is obsessed with fitness and goes out all the time. It'll be rainy for months now, so I guess people here make the most of it while they can. Besides, the view from a mountain is generally better than the view from a coal mine I'd imagine. There is a coal mine museum thing in Squamish. I think on the basis of that post I'll have to take you when you come and visit!
