Southbank

A. and I took in the Munch exhibition at the Tate, strolled along the Southbank to watch the street performers and bussed it to Hamley's to see the demos.

Munch was okay - a shame the Scream wasn't in the show.

It's funny you say that. I thought that maybe it wasn't sent to the Tate with the rest of the ehibition because the Oslo museum hadn't got it back. But they did recover it. Even if they hadn't, there are still other versions around. Munch painted several versions of his paintings to replace those he'd sold or just out of sheer obsession. I kind of wished they'd managed to access at least one version.
