First few captures of Jupiter from last night.

OK, technicals: Meade 8" Schmidt-Newtonian telescope: that's f4, 821mm in photography-speak. First shot is prime focus to a Philips SPC900 webcam, black and white. Second is with a 2X Barlow added, unadjusted colour.

They're both stacks of around 100 images each, aligned and stacked in Registax 6. I tried ALE but it kept rotating images so output was confused. I think there are options I can use to stop it doing that, but I'll have another go later.
