I make things on the web, mobile and in the actual world.

I've done lots of bits and bobs over the years, and right now I'm mostly working on this.

I enjoy speaking about things I like, most recently this. You can email me if you'd like, and I'm on twitter.

alfie, just out of curiosity - what ISP do you get your internet from at the moment?

alfie says:

1and1, based out of germany. Need to mvoe if this continues. I had to pay a £600 bandwidth bill in order to get my urls turned on again, even though 1and1 were meant to be covering bandwidth costs. Mega pissed right now.

daz says:

Alfie - Have you noticed how 1&1 has switched their cust support to the States now?

I don't need to call them very often, but tried to yesterday and got a dodgy American voice message and eventually an american support tech!?

alfie says:

hmmn. Thanks Daz, let me know if anything untoward happens? ANd Jaggy, yeah, noticed that yesterday - I think they've also moved to VOIP switching.

daz says:

Will do. So far, the person has just joined briefly and left as soon as they were greeted. I don't know how many times this has happened; I only saw it twice.

27th Sep 2005, 16:35

jaggysnake says:

Yes - I suspected VOIP due to the questionable quality too!
