Astronomically better. This setup cost me about £20 and most of that was the super-bright/extra-white bulbs in those dirt cheap lamps (which made up almost all the rest of the £20). The rest really is just a piece of white paper taped to a shelf. Previously it was a piece of paper taped inside a large cardboard box, but that took up loads of room.
