I did sleep. I took a short nap, was up for a few hours, and then went back to bed and remained there til 8:30 this morning.
It does seem like longer than that, but I'm not surprised that it does, really.

It's in Camden. But we have flowers on the street, spilling out of shops quite literally, about once a block here.

nice. Ever been/seem pictures of Las Ramblas in Barcelona? Not quite what you mean, but can't be beaten for flowers ..

No I haven't, but all the photos of Barcelona I've seen have been very interesting.

Only vaguely. You'd be amazed at how similar NYC payphone boxes look to that, as well. It's just the very top part that's different, and it's hard to tell in this image if that's part of the phone box or an awning for another shop.
