nice..
one of my nearly-boyfriends (ie one that got away in advance) used to run up and down that kind of stuff for fun
that's really beautiful
btw, are you still reading "A Fine Balance"?
Cheers :o) And thanks for the highlight!
Dhamaka> people do that here too. I think the record for this trail is just under 30 minutes. There are quite a few over 60s who jog up it every day. I think once a year will suffice for me :)
Elph> yeah. I've been pretty busy, so I've not read enough to get into it yet. I read 'such a long journey' a few months ago though, and thought it was pretty good.
A good part of the main trail up Ben Nevis is just a flight of stairs, really ...
Would never be able to go that way. But the view from the top is phenomenal. We visited a few years ago and took the tram to the top.
Our photos
Gael> I haven't done Ben Nevis in a long time, so don't remember it too well. There's something not quite right about such an obvious man-made trail through such a beautiful area.
Autumncat> Cool photos. Yeah, the view from the top is fantastic. The trail itself doesn't have very good views at all, but it's well worth it when you get to the top. I took the tram down though!
