I read about the former, am sickened by the latter and am ashamed too
I hate to think what happens elsewhere. We have a reputation, apparently, for being lenient, or is that the tabloids?
Nobody should be treated like this. If we treat people like this some will turn into the people we don't want them to be.
We take our right to travel and movement so much for granted.
An African-american writer termed the phrase 'the hate that hate created' and I think that is relevant for the times that we are in.
I think that is something that has always been relevant to humankind. I think it's something that we should always strive to break. I try my best not to hate, I refuse to hate.
Saddening - I know there are no simple answers to immigration - but you would think when the community so obviously want people to stay that they could be allowed to.

And here i was thinking organisers, like managers were supposed to be responsible for these things
