NTT office - where I'll be working in my summer on creating some English HMMs...

Right out in the middle of nowhere (well, along with a few other offices...a bit like the Vocalis office in Shelford used to be then). Ok, I admit, I couldn't have submitted a much more boring photo, but never mind...you don't have to look at it :)

War of the Worlds?

(viewed 714 times)
Either a Martian fighting machine, or a baby praying mantis? Hmm, a real toughie. In case you hadn't guessed, it is the latter - spotted him outside my window, and had to rush to get a snap. Would have got a better piccy, but a) I was having focusing issues, and b) he quickly got stressed and scarpered. Still, a cute little fella...as long as he doesn't grow to big, and return to bite my head off!

At last, an English breakfast in Japan!

(viewed 2760 times)
Ok, it might not look much. The eggs ran, the beans are brownish (can't get "normal" baked beans here...oh, for the joy of heinz), and the bacon a bit sparse (and wot no sausage?). But it's my first meal of such sorts for a good half a year, and I loved every minute of it!
