Japanese commemorative photo

(viewed 1122 times)
Let me introduce a case of Japanese commemorative photo.

I had a hearty laugh at top picture.
These people are like me exactly!
I rarely laugh. Smile at the most.
I always do a deadpan expression.

However, I am an general Japanese!
Please do not think it is eerie even if the Japanese is not so expressive.

The photograph below is my face.

Note:I was obtaining the permission of The Japan Times Online of publishing this picture.

Huge Electric Advertisement

(viewed 554 times)
The huge electron TOYOTA advertisement was built near the local station.
It is a size of the fourth floor height of the building.
I feel the bottom raising of the recession in Japanese economics.

Why TX was constructed

(viewed 641 times)
It is continuation of the story from last time. The reason why the TX railway was constructed is that Joban Line was very crowded.

At first, TX was called 'New Joban line'.

The commuting congestion rate of Joban Line was almost 250%!
It was an awful congestion.. (**)

TX opend in Japan

(viewed 914 times)
In Japan, The Tsukuba Express that was called alias 'TX' opened on August 24.
The TX Project is a plan to create a rapid-transit railway line, that will travel northeast through the Metropolitan Area from Akihabara, Tokyo to Tsukuba, Ibaraki.

The opening to traffic of TX is very glad for me because I had taken charge of promotion of the TX plan before.

TX was a project that over one trillion yen. I think it is about six billion pounds. You think TX railway is very expensive, don't you?

The price of land of Tokyo outskirts is very high in Japan so that commissioning cost was very high.
